What is Guli?
Guli (გული, Georgian for "heart") is a dating service for Georgians at home and in the diaspora, built for serious relationships. It runs in Telegram and in the browser, with an interface in three languages.
Is Guli free?
Yes. Signing up, your profile, the feed, matches and chat are free. Only Premium (who liked you and who viewed you) and extra gifts are paid. Premium is a fixed term and does not renew automatically.
Do I need Telegram?
No. Telegram is the fastest way in, but you can register with a phone number or an e-mail address and use the site in a browser.
Do I have to be Georgian?
Guli is built for Georgians — in Georgia and across the diaspora — but there is no formal origin check. People come here to find someone who shares their roots, language and values.
Who can see my profile?
Only registered Guli users who match your search settings. Profiles are never indexed by search engines and are hidden immediately when you block someone.
What does the blue check mean?
That the person sent a live selfie and we compared it by hand with the photos on their profile. It is not an automated check.
How are profiles chosen for my feed?
By a compatibility score: what each of you is looking for, faith, region and country, views on children, shared interests, age, distance and the answers to a values test. Each card explains why that person was shown.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
The apps are in preparation. Right now Guli runs in Telegram (@Guli_dat_bot) and in any browser at myguli.ge — including on a phone.
What languages does it support?
Georgian, Russian and English. You can switch at any time, and someone else's profile text can be translated with one tap.
How do I delete my account?
From your profile, from the bot, or from the account deletion page. Your profile, conversations and photos are removed, including the copies in storage.
How do I report someone?
Every profile has a report button and it goes straight to moderation. For urgent cases, write to @irakli_2014.
